1963 Jaguar E-Type Low Drag
Using an original US spec E-Type Series 1 FHC, in 1989 Mr H-E Johansson imported the car into Sweden and undertook the ultimate project of creating a Low-Drag E-Type for competitive racing and road use.
It is clear with how the car stands today, that a great deal of thought and detail has gone into recreating the desirable Low-Drag. All stressed parts are made of steel, everything else in aluminium, and particular interest to the windscreen/door window surrounds, made from a single piece of aluminium each. Mr Johansson spent a great deal of time investigating each individual part for the possibility of weight saving, we have detailed photographic evidence of this.
A fine example of a Low Drag recreation, which remains highly competitive and ready for racing. Valid to 2026, HTP FIA Papers are supplied with the car.
