GOODWOOD REVIVAL
Lister-Jaguar 'Costin', Gomm Special, E-Type, Ecurie Ecosse Transporter
It was another star studded Revival for the CKL team this year at Goodwood. Tiff Needell raced the Lister-Jaguar 'Costin' in the Sussex Trophy. Newly acquired by our sales team, the car achieved a strong seventh place in qualifying, and ran faultlessly all weekend.

The Gomm Special raced in the Freddie March Memorial Trophy qualifying and finishing 13th, a remarkable result given that it's an XK-140 chassis pitted against purpose-built sports racing cars such as C-Types, Coopers and HWMs - the Gomm was the fifth Jaguar engined car across the line, ahead of several C-Types.

'Our' E-Type Safety Car ran exclusively on synthetic fuel all weekend and performed faultlessly (the other E-Type Safety Car - not a CKL car - unfortunately broke down).
We also had our latest E-Type racing engine built by CKL's engine department displayed on the Coryton Sustainable Classic Fuels stand. Stay tuned for more on CKL's sustainability drive soon.
Thank you to the Duke of Richmond and the entire Goodwood team for putting on a terrific event this year.
